Costume Contest

 A panel of judges (Joyce and her fabulous friends) will choose the best costume ideas to feature here on joycemason.com. The contest will be ongoing. However, there will be a Grand Prize Winner among those who act early, to be awarded on Dec. 31^st, the date the Crystal Ball occurs in the book. The prize will be a copy of one of the anthologies in which Joyce’s short stories are featured, Golden Prose & Poetry or Capital Crimes.

Your additional costume ideas will expand everyone’s vision of the wild get-ups at the 25^th anniversary of IOPEA—the Immortalists on Planet Earth Association. It keeps the party going and the outrageous costumes coming!

Watch this page for updates for the 2014 Costume Contest! We’ll keep The Crystal Ball’s futuristic costume focus till at least mid-year. Then we’ll look toward the next book in the series. Those who want to enter the New 2014 Costume Contest will get to know, in advance, the theme of the costume party coming in Book 2. You can send in your costume ideas, and the best ones will be featured, with your permission, in the new book.
